Delete Your Account

You can delete your AI Translate account and all associated data at any time. Apple and Google require us to offer this. We process every request within 24 hours.

Option 1 — In-app (one tap)

  • Open AI Translate on your iPhone or Android device.
  • Tap Settings (gear icon, top-right).
  • Tap Account → Delete Account.
  • Confirm. Your account and data are scheduled for deletion within 24 hours.

Option 2 — Email request

If you can no longer access the app, email support@ai-translate.web.app with subject "Delete my account" from the email address linked to your account. We will confirm within 24 hours and complete deletion within 7 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your account record.
  • Your profile (display name, email).
  • Your cloud-synced translation history.
  • Saved translations, glossary entries, settings.
  • Conversation transcripts.
  • Any cached cloud AI prompts or responses.
  • Subscriber identifier (the subscription itself remains active in Apple/Google until cancelled separately).

What we keep

Anonymized analytics and crash reports that cannot be linked back to your identity, and any records we are legally required to retain (e.g., financial transaction logs for tax purposes, kept for 5 years). These contain no personal content.

About your subscription

Deleting your AI Translate account does NOT cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop being charged, also cancel in Apple ID Subscriptions or Google Play Subscriptions before deleting.

Timeline

Deletion request received → confirmation email within 24 hours → all data deleted within 7 days. Vietnam PDPL compliance.
